Whereas: Now, Therefore, we the Mayor and City Council of the great
Sandra Chatham has been serving the North and East Lubbock City of Lubbock, do hereby extend special recognition to
communities as the Director of HOME Ministries for 13 years,

Sandra has helped numerous citizens gain access to legal aid,
assisted with property changes, and provided much-appreciated
guidance to the residents of Lubbock. Sandra and HOME
Ministries have gone above and beyond their duty to serve and
have blessed their neighbors in such ways as giving out snacks Sheila Patterson Harris
to kids every Friday, assisting with Child Protective Services District 2
visits, and working tirelessly to mentor and tutor both children
and adults. Sandra is an outstanding friend and mentor to so
many people in our community; and,

It is appropriate to recognize Sandra Chatham for all the work
she has done to connect people with the appropriate resources
needed for them to flourish, and for all the care she has
demonstrated toward her community through her guidance and
dedication to helping others.
