HONORING VETERANS

            Our completed quilt tops are then sent to one of our
            "Army of Longarmers," someone who does the actual
            quilting.  (A long arm sewing machine is designed
            especially to accommodate quilts.) Patty Gieselman
            and her staff at Patty's Heart have been very generous
            in their donation of time and talent to complete our
            works of art.  We also provide a "presentation case," a
            special pillowcase that is to be used to store the quilt
            in if it is not being used.

            Our presentations are a special event. Whether it's
            a private ceremony or a larger event, we want each
            Veteran to feel the depth of our gratitude.  Many of
            our Veterans have said that this is the "Thank You"
            they never received.  Being a part of QOV has become
