Josh Navarro knew he wasn’t meant to work at a car
rental company. It wasn’t his endgame.
Ever since he graduated from Texas Tech University in
2015 with a bachelor’s degree in electronic media and
communications, Navarro needed a creative outlet for
his newfound skills.
His potential didn’t go unnoticed by a fellow Red
Raider, who directed Navarro to the opportunity of his
dreams three years later.
Once Navarro plugged into video game development
at the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy, he
began to pack a punch. He has since levelled up as a
technical designer for video games such as Madden,
Marvel’s Avengers, and most recently, Perfect Dark.
Each time his name passes through the post-game
credits, it’s not just a reminder of his top score, but that
