The octogenarian keeps his college yearbook handy,
so he can point out cute girls and friendly guys and
tell who married who and what this or that one
ended up doing with their life. He didn't graduate
from Belmont, but he still remembers most of his
classmates. He later continued his education by taking
night classes at a University of Tennessee Extension.
“We had our first child, Philip, in Nashville,” Bud
reminisces, “and moved to Lubbock when he was
two, and then had two daughters, April and Beth.”
The song “April Love” bubbles up. “Nancy was an
amazing wife, mother, and friend. She was a school
secretary and librarian for 25 years, and a wonderful herrin
wife for 60 years.” (More tears.) “She is in Heaven now.
She passed in July 2020, and she’s saving a place for me.
Nancy is the best thing that ever happened to me after h real estate

Bud is also very proud of his three children and three ron herrin broker
