in you, too.” I am also thankful to my family and other
wonderful friends for believing in me and never giving
up on me – even when I was ready to give up on myself.
Everyone has a unique story, and as I look back over
mine, I am amazed at what God did with a kid who
didn’t care about anything but motorcycles! During the
recent Corona Virus quarantine, I have learned a lot.
Any other time I would have been working like crazy,
entering my art into lots of shows, but during this time
I have felt a calm. I am enjoying my music and art
and appreciate the “reset”. I am emerging in a fresher,
brighter place. I am also excited to see what is in store for

and learned to build Paraguayan harps. After making LUBBOCK, TX 79413
and selling a few of them, I bought plans for a Celtic 806.549.1679
harp. I have since built three, and the process has been
extremely rewarding.
In 2014, I was honored to be the featured artist for the
Lubbock Arts Festival. I have sold my work to banks,
businesses, churches, and numerous individuals. One
of my favorites, “Vision of the Buffalo”, sits in the lobby
of Plains Capital Bank. It was created from the wood of
the historic mulberry tree that grew near the corner of
50th and Indiana from 1892 to 1996. That tree weathered THIS PAGE SPONSERED BY
lots of West Texas storms, and I am grateful that God has
enabled me to withstand a lot of storms myself. FRIENDS OF
The Kirkpatrick family has been especially generous in
letting me “harvest” juniper and mesquite from their GREG GOODNIGHT
ranch in Post. A friend named Beth Bartley believed
in me, got me into the studio tour, and told me I was
