had been taken from her.
That was 16 years ago, and Margaret Mary still tears up when
she describes the horrific event. But she doesn't dwell on it.
Her life and her children's lives were changed forever, but she
says Jesus has cared for her so well. She is passionate about
telling people how much He loves her and how much He loves
them. She points out countless things her children have done
for her or written to her and produces precious notes from dear
friends. She is effusive when she talks about how Jesus has
carried her through others—most notably the people at United
Market Street who have practically adopted her. “They are like
family to me.”
