five grandkids, and 11 great grandkids. (I call them
“you uglies,” and they call their grand pop Shorty

to see a great great grandkid. I’m retired now and enjoy
fixing things around my house.
I would like people to remember me not for what I did
good or bad, but for the things that all Veterans stand
for. Every American has the right to do what he or she
wants to do because the United States is free, and it
is free because of its Veterans—especially the WWII
Veterans. So, that’s why it is appropriate when you see Serving the Lubbock
any Veteran to tell him or her, “Thank you for your community since 1950.
service.” WWII, Korea, Desert Storm, Iraq, Afghanistan We pride ourselves in making our home and surrounding
and every other arena, every Veteran signed up to communities a more beautiful and functional place to live.
