told me that is all she ever really wanted, and that was
partly because she had been adopted.

Big Daddy ended up taking a job as an apprentice

loves to help his family out and does some electrical

busy, and I’m proud to have a grandparent who works so
                                                              hard.

After college, Grandaddy worked for Lubbock Parks

he ended up starting a handyman business. He is now
retired and enjoys spending time with his church friends
and working on his classic car.
Mimi raised three boys and most recently worked at the

to graduate, get married to Mimi, and have a job. of CHOICE.
He gave college a try for one semester, but it wasn’t
something he was interested in continuing.
Grandaddy didn’t enjoy school either, however,
he was always curious, and when he took an Auto
Mechanic class, he discovered he enjoyed problem
solving. I can relate to going to school and not liking it,
but like Grandaddy, I found something I enjoyed (my
passion through FFA). After high school, he earned a
         B.S. in Physical Education.

As for Mimi, she loved school. The summer before
her senior year, she had a job she loved, but she quit
because she didn’t want to miss out on her senior year.
I can relate to that because I also want to experience
my senior year to the fullest and don’t want to miss
out on any opportunities when it comes to showing
my pigs. After high school, Mimi took some college www.frenship.net
courses and wanted to get a degree, but she and Big FrenshipISD
