Old [people] have had more failures than us young people.
Failures taught them how to become successful and gave
them the strength to cope with difficulties in their life.
Talking with older people [gives you] the opportunity to
          gain from their experiences.

My Grandma Dodo was born in Mexico. There is a saying in China: “Life to study,

Once, my grandma, Mimi, tried to slip me some money but got caught by my mother who said, “Stop
giving him money. He doesn’t need it.”
Mimi suggested that I get a bank account. [She] was a banker, so she was an expert on that subject. I learned
that you need a minimum of $100 to start an account. She taught me about debit and credit cards. I learned
that a debit card takes money straight out of your account. [When] a credit card is used, if you don’t pay it
off in full, interest will be added. If [you don’t pay it off in full], you could get into serious debt.
We should talk to seniors because they can give us wisdom and advice that can be used in the future. I learned that it is smarter
to use your debit card than your credit card so you know what you can afford.
