My Home

I am a widow. One day, I was with a friend, and we drove
through Vintage Township. It reminded me of the deep
south where I grew up. Every house has a porch, many
furnished with rockers or swings, and illuminated with
glowing lanterns every evening. It was love at first sight.

I have lived here nine years now, and I have many more
things to love about my neighborhood:
• The children playing in the parks
• Outdoor movies and musicals on summer evenings
• A 50s party every year, and an annual Christmas
ornament exchange
• Monthly coffee for seniors in the town hall
• Bible studies, book clubs and prayer groups
• Community potlucks
• The swimming pool and the water aerobics
• My very favorite-the wonderful caring neighbors!

Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along
the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly! ~ Psalm 37:5

I have no plans to live anywhere else.
