          Here are a few practical steps you can take every
          day to help you achieve lasting healing.

          or take a moment during your lunch hour. Get
          outside. Move your body.  Stretch out your five
          senses. Let your heart stretch a little too. Walk with
          a friend. Walk alone also. Allow yourself time to
          listen to God, to your own heart and body. The
          movement of your feet carrying you down the
          pathways may help you to open up and release the
          physical and emotional stress you are holding.

          Nurturing Comforts

          God created your senses to serve you. They help
          you re-orient to know where you are.  Nourishing
          things that feed your senses will bring healthy
          comforts into your day. Make no mistake; you
          will seek comfort on painful days. So think about
          it. Identifying what helps you will keep you from
          falling into unhealthy habits.  Find simple things
          that comfort you. Make them an essential part of
          your day.
          •  A warm bath or hot shower
          •  Favorite coffee or cup of tea
          •  Light a candle
          •  Chocolate (My favorite)
          •  Man’s best friend (Pet)
