watched them teach Sunday school and Bible School, as well Cindy- 1958
as host many various youth activities. Students from all over
still enjoy staying in contact with them. Mom was a great Rick- 1961
coach’s wife and was always Dad’s biggest supporter. They Cathy-1964
have always supported each other in every aspect of life.

What a blessing to grow up in a home where our Lord was
first, love was unconditional, and laughter was always
abundant! We knew we were loved, but mainly we knew that
our parents loved each other in a rare and beautiful way. They
have never spoken anything bad about the other one. Not ever.
The legacy of their love will last for many, many generations
to come.

marriage, then a family with three babies in six years? God
has certainly had His hand on them. They have had God’s
favor, and their loyalty and commitment have stood the test of
time.

We are proud of and have so much admiration for our parents’
love story. Just to be around them, one can’t help but be in
awe and feel the love and joy they still have for one another.
“Other things may change, but we start and end with
family,” they remind us. And 61 happy years of marriage
proves it is true.
