Robin Walker is one of the most giving people I know. She is so
committed to her classes, impacting at least 50 people every day. Even
though her own plate is full (or she is facing a challenge like breast
cancer), she goes out of her way to care for others. I could talk about
Robin's giving heart all day long."

Longtime friend of the Becknell family, Deb Smith, had this to

Wanda with her grands and great grands say about the four women:
“Every one of the Becknells is generous and caring—starting with

        organizations.

                             After hearing one of her
                             presentations, people often realize
there is no excuse for not exercising!
She teaches how to make it part of
                             daily activities. She is especially
                             concerned with helping seniors
                             learn exercises that help prevent
                             falls. She concentrates on exercises
                             that enhance muscle memory of
                             movements that have been shown
          Robin
                             to prevent accidental falls. Even
when volunteering, Robin chooses active jobs—like Habitat
for Humanity, Easter Seals Camps, and any event set-up or
take-down that requires manual labor. Robin loves her class
participants and keeps up with them like they are family. She
is the wife of Don Walker, and they have two children and five
        grandchildren.

*Ed Note: This story was a surprise for all four Becknell women,
but an unsuspecting Brenda wrote the part about Robin.
      "

Robin Walker is one of the most genuine, kind, compassionate
people I know. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to
teaching exercise classes, taking the time to know her students and
their abilities/limits so that she can help them modify accordingly.
Robin has been with the UMC Activities Center program from the
beginning; I have been blessed to work with her for 20+ years and am
looking forward to the next 20+ years!"
