arol was the ultimate people
person. No matter where
Cshe went, or who she was
with, Carol was the most joyful
and supportive person in the
room. I know it’s hard to believe
that someone could be like that all
the time, but if you spent just five
minutes with her, you would feel
the same. She was a special person
who went above and beyond
investing in others. Despite any
hardships she faced, she never
let that change who she was or
her relationship with the Lord.
Some knew her as Carol, or Mrs.
McGinty, but to many, including
myself, she was Mimi.
Here are a few basic facts you
need to know about Mimi. Boy,
was she sassy! She was incredibly
independent, and she often joked
that no one could tell her what to
do. (Sorry, Pop!) She was an avid
shopper, who loved to spend her
days walking through the mall
and Target, finding treasures for
her family and friends. Mimi was
the best baker and cook, incredibly
funny, and lived loudly for 70
years. She was a hard worker;
she worked for Ethicon for many
