deer blind. Though I have had to start over several times in
frustration, looking back to what I learned watching Papa
Rick sends me a peace to start over again with a sense of
calm. I know my senior project will be amazing, and I will
complete it. It is with the comfort of remembering what
            my papa would do.

Sadly and unexpectedly, he passed away two and a half
years ago. I remember at his funeral how the family got up
to speak about memories of papa. Everyone was recalling
what a giving man he was. He would give a complete
stranger the shirt off of his back. He always was building
things. Of course, the one that had everyone erupting in
laughter - yes, you guessed it, the year I discovered my
            papa was Santa Claus!
When I look to the future, I know that I want to be
successful and dedicated just like my grandfather. He
worked for a gas and oil company for over 30 years. As
dedicated as he was to his family, even extended family,
that is everything that I want to be myself.
One thing I remember my mom saying about papa is how
he was always prepared for anything and everything. He Jane Bromley
was a man who always had a plan for anything that may
come up. One memory in particular is when Y2K was 806-438-8557
coming. He and Mimi had a house at White River Lake. He
bought this house and ended up completely remodeling janebromley53@gmail.com
every single bit of it. He added on a deck with a balcony
that looked over the lake. In October of 1999, my mother
told me how he was worried that the power would go out
on Y2K. I, of course, do not remember this as I was only
just born. On Jan. 1, 2000, I was only two months old.
My mother told me how he had built this huge storage goals are big, and my future is bright. I am so happy and
