HONORING SENIORS
Effective Prayer for Our Families

Next, I began to take back, through prayer,
everything the enemy had stolen from me
and my family. I fought with the sword of the
Spirit (God’s Word) and the shield of faith. I
appropriated every promise, blessing, and gift
that God has pledged to us. Why? Because it
is part of our inheritance. How? By declaring,
decreeing, and commanding the written Word
of God, the God who “calls things into being
which do not exist” (Rom. 4:17). I may not see Inspiration
the answers yet, but I know, they are coming.

Believing God is who He says He is, and He
will do what He says He will do:
• I pray that my family will believe God and
love Him with all our hearts, minds, souls,
and strength.

• I pray we will experience the glory and
destiny of God over our lives to the fullest.
• I pray for hope, health, prosperity, and
freedom.
• I declare, decree, and plead “the blood
of Jesus” over my family, speaking each
name aloud. (This is a legal assertion of
the power that was purchased for us by
Jesus’ sacrifice.) I pray over our homes,
grandchildren’s schools, churches,
entertainment, media, workplaces, and
