Dr. Katherine Hayhoe, one of the founders and leaders
of the Citizens Climate Lobby, calls George a champion
for climate change. “Dr. George’s unrelenting passion
and steadfast commitment to his beliefs are an
example to us all,” Hayhoe said. “He has inspired
many to join the fight against climate change.”
George is not worried about himself. Instead,

of greenhouse gasses, alongside the temperature
of the atmosphere—what’s it going to be like in
2073?” George said.
