Boutique has recently expanded into KK’s
Corner Mall, which is open every day
of the week as well. The Boutique helps
generate more awareness about the mission
of the Foundation, as well as provide a
continual source of fundraising. It gives
clients and others an opportunity to give
back just by shopping, and it also allows
IOF to meet people it would not otherwise.
The Boutique has been a very popular and
successful addition since it began. The
beautiful inventory at both locations also
has a psychological benefit as it puts clients
and their support people at ease when
they see the stunning array of clothing and
accessories. IOF has done this by design; it
feels like a store, not a clinic.
As 2023 nears, the staff at Inside Out is
hard at work, preparing for its 11th Annual
Women’s Health Seminar, Saturday,
January 14, 2023. IOF will feature celebrity
Nutritionist-Ph.D., Dr. Amy Shah. Dr.
Shah’s work is primarily focused on the
microbiome of the gut and how it is essential
to mental and overall health. She has been
featured on “The Today Show” and “Dr.
Oz,” just to name a couple, but this event
will mark her first time in Lubbock. Tickets
for the event are available now by contacting
the Foundation or visiting its website.
IOF is honored to serve the West Texas area
and help its neighbors. It has been a wild
ride for the three ladies who had no idea
what they were getting into, but it is one
they would gladly take again. Every life
impacted has made it worth it all.
