Celebrating 10 Years
s 2022 comes to an end, one
local nonprofit is wrapping
Aup its tenth year. The Inside
Out Foundation (IOF) started with
three local women putting their
thoughts together to offer services
that could benefit those across the
South Plains region who are going
through or have experienced a
traumatic event. Adair Murillo,
Alexis Arnold, and Karla Morgan
identified an important need that
was not being met in West Texas.
At the time, no other entities were
combining an aesthetic and full-
body approach to healing, while
also treating emotional health.
IOF combines these two essential
strategies by providing beauty,
internal health solutions, and
much more.
The Foundation accomplishes
its mission by furnishing wigs,
turbans, and other head coverings,
by Adair Murillo and Alexis Arnold
expanded into more places
to accommodate even more
people. They have found that
trauma does not discriminate,
and no one is exempt.
Events have grown in size
and number, as has the
volunteer base. Every year,
IOF hosts a Women’s Health
Seminar, a Golf Tournament,
mastectomy bras, prosthetic breast a Christmas in July Boutique

support items, skin care for and Giving Tuesday Chili Day.
