APPRECIATION EVENT

On Monday, April 18th, in conjunction
with our cover photo shoot, Senior
Link hosted a short Wreath-laying
Ceremony and Appreciation Picnic at
the Lubbock Regional Public Safety
Memorial for the men and women
we are honoring in this special issue.
We'd like to thank the Lubbock Police
Department, Lubbock Fire and Rescue,
EMS, the SWAT team, and the Red
Cross for displaying their impressive
life-protecting and life-saving
equipment. We also want to thank
United Marketstreet for the beautiful
wreath they provided, Ryan Curry and
his team from Indiana Avenue Baptist
Church who provided the meal, Mark
Hill for his inspirational words and
Pastor Steve McMeans of IABC for his
blessing over the program and all the
first responders. We are grateful to
all the others who generously helped
make this special event possible.
