isa Carson is an RN with
an extensive background in
LHome Health. She has had
a passion for seniors her entire life.
When she was working as a nurse in
home health, in the late ‘90s, she was
concerned for so many of her patients
who were being discharged. She
knew that many of their daily needs
would not be met. The concept of
non-medical, in-home care began to
take shape in her mind.
Lisa’s mother subscribed to The
Dallas Morning News, and she knew
of her daughter’s dreams. Early one
Sunday morning, her mom called
to say she had found what Lisa was
looking for. She had read an article
