Become a Hospice Volunteer
Kindred Hospice’s nationally recognized “Vet-to-Vet” program welcomes and trains volunteers who
share their time visiting Veteran hospice patients to offer presence, comfort and reassurance.
SOCIALIZATION, COMPANIONSHIP, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, AND RESPITE FOR CAREGIVERS
Won’t you join us in serving Veterans and their families? You too can offer the “unique and valuable
connection” that only other Veterans can provide, and be part of a team that also encourages you.
In 2013 Kindred Hospice was the first in this region to be awarded 4 stars in the “WE HONOR
VETERANS PROGRAM “ sponsored by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Association.
