Service Requirement
The Veteran must have served at least 90
consecutive days of active duty service, with at
least one of these falling within the official dates
of one of our nation’s wars. This service did not
have to be in the theater of conflict (could have
been stateside). Surviving spouses are eligible
based on their deceased spouse’s service, as long
as the surviving spouse has never remarried.
Need for Care
In order to qualify for the maximum pension
