brotherhood.”
I was a long-haul truck driver when I failed a BAC and spent a
night in jail. I thought my life was over. I lost my CDL, my career,
and all my hope.
In August 2020, I came to Malta Farms where I discovered that my
identity did not lie in my addiction—but in Jesus. After six months,
I stepped back into life with freedom I had never before experienced.
I received my CDL, my career, and renewed hope. Soon I was back
to driving.
On my days off, I come back to the Farm where I always receive
encouragement. I see in the residents the hunger I once experienced.
I know they too can find hope. There's no condemnation here—only
a passion to help struggling men transition into the abundant life
they are destined for.
