teachers like Kathy Thibodeaux,
Jiri Voborski, and Lysion Vieira,
and have collaborated with Jason
Gray and Shannon Wexelberg-
Adducci, two very gracious and
talented contemporary Christian
singer-songwriters. The list of
other influential guest artists and
instructors is long, each of them
bringing something uniquely
special for our students.

This semester we have a unique
opportunity that comes by way of
Ballet Magnificat!, America’s premier
professional Christian ballet
company. This coming May 8-9,
we will be performing their classic
story-ballet Deliver Us! as part of
our annual spring production. It is
completely unprecedented in that
no one, outside of Ballet Magnificat!
has ever been given the privilege to
perform any of their original works.

Deliver Us! is worth experiencing,
if for no other reason than because
it features the beautiful music from
the film, Prince of Egypt. But the
storyline is also deeply moving—
that of a people brought out of
slavery by the mighty hand of God.
The powerful music and timeless
story are exquisitely set to dramatic
choreography. It’s not difficult to see
why Deliver Us! remains so popular.
It was over twenty years ago when
we first had the chance to see it,
and it is especially meaningful that
we get to celebrate our twentieth
anniversary with the opportunity to
perform it ourselves.

A whole other article would need
to be written about how God has
provided financially through the
years, often through incredibly
generous people and organizations
whose gifts and service came at just
the right time. Many of these people
have asked to remain anonymous,
but they know who they are, and
hopefully, know just how grateful
we are for each one of them.
