part of a grassroots effort in Lubbock alongside Dr. Clive
Kinghorn, to start a classical, fine-arts, and National for classical radio
Public Radio (NPR) station in Lubbock.

Clint’s early efforts at 89.1 KOHM resulted in acquisition
of Corporation for Public Broadcasting funding, which
        enabled 89.1 FM to become a full-time, 24-hour station.
The station’s full-time status allowed them to purchase
national programming which, in turn, attracted classical
and NPR listenership across the South Plains. For these
efforts, Clint was awarded the Superior Achievement
        Award at Texas Tech University.

He remained at Texas Tech Public media for 34 years
until March 2024, when he retired from Texas Tech
        University.

On April 1, 2024, Clint answered the call of Brad Moran
at Ramar Communications to begin a new classical
radio station in Lubbock known as Classical 105.7. Clint
currently serves as the Program and Station Manager
alongside team members Beverly McBeath, Amy Berry,
and Devin McCain. Classical 105.7 strives to bring local
classical music to Lubbock and the South Plains through
partnerships with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra,
the Texas Tech University School of Music and the J. T.
& Margaret Talkington College of Visual & Performing
Arts. Clint hosts a daily radio show entitled “The Front
Row” which highlights local music and art offerings.
In addition to Clint’s work at Classical 105.7, Clint is
the organist at St. John’s United Methodist Church and
the chapel organist at All Saints Episcopal School. He download our

        productive and rewarding chapter.
