MOSAIC TEXAS!

Pauline came to America to visit her umbrellas.

art. While she enjoys many different
genres, her primary focus is mosaics.
Pauline started creating mosaics in her
garage in 2001. Eventually her projects
took over the garage, and her husband
encouraged her to find a commercial
space. (He wanted his garage back).
She purchased a rundown warehouse
space near downtown Lubbock in
2009—it was missing the roof. It
became Glassyalley—her studio and
teaching space. Pauline can’t wait to
get to work every day. She remembers
those early First Friday Art Trail
events. If it rained, folks needed
