her ancestral roots.
She remained in Alpine, TX until 2005, when she
relocated to Ransom Canyon, TX to be closer to her
daughter and grandchildren. In true Aggie fashion, she
designed her home in Ransom Canyon from the ground
up. Aggie is an avid traveler and has been all over the
world, from the islands of Tahiti to the jungles of Costa
Rica. Being the artist that she is, you can find almost
every location she has visited in one of her paintings.
Now in 2020, Aggie is 89-years-young. She spends her
days playing with her two kitties, Gus and Woody. She
enjoys spending all the time she can with her children
and grandchildren. She would not hesitate to do
anything for her family, and that is what makes her the
best. She had a beautiful marriage and is a wonderful
mother and grandmother. To know her is to love her,
Aggie is a wonderful cook and baker. She has passed and we will love her forever.

cooking with them. In 1964, she took up painting as a
hobby. She is a naturally gifted artist and has honed her
skills over the years. Her specialty is landscapes from the
many national parks. She enjoys many forms of painting,
especially oil painting. She also enjoys watercolors,
as well as painting china. Aggie is kind-hearted and
family-oriented, which has led her to begin teaching
her granddaughter, Jackie, how to paint. They spend
many weekends learning the basics of painting and have
shared lots of laughs together during those sessions.
In addition to painting, Aggie was a talented seamstress ssisted Living & emory Care

Aggie and Derek retired to Alpine, TX, where they
built their home from the ground up. Once she retired,
Aggie began working with stained glass. She loves
making stained glass pieces for her family. Once again,
Aggie chose to pass on her craft to her family and has
been teaching her daughter, Karen, the ins and outs of
everything stained glass.
Aggie lost her beloved husband, Derek, in 1993. She
has never remarried and has always loved the thought
of seeing her husband again in heaven. Later that year,
during the Bosnian War, Aggie traveled back home to
Croatia to get in touch with her roots. She has said it was 10711 Indiana Ave, Lubbock, TX
