The Civil Air Patrol, Lubbock Composite Squadron will once again be December 14, 2019
sponsoring this year’s Wreaths Across America ceremony. Please join us on
December 14, 2019 at the City of Lubbock Memorial Cemetery at 2011 E.
31 Street. Lubbock Composite Squadron has been honoring the memory

U.S. veterans, HONOR those who currently serve and TEACH our children
the value of FREEDOM. Capt. Tammy Preidis is the Wreaths Across America
Director for Lubbock. This program is very dear to her heart as she and her
husband, Jim, come from families with a long line of military service. The
two of them served in the Air Force during Desert Storm. This year we will
be focusing on Vietnam veterans. It’s been 55 years since the beginning
of the Vietnam War. Capt. Preidis says, “I’ve truly appreciated all who
have helped expand this program. It’s my desire to have wreaths for all EVERY FALLEN HERO DESERVES A WREATH
2,000 + veterans who are laid to rest at the City of Lubbock Cemetery. To
accomplish this, we need to collect $30,000. It’s my aspiration to get more
of Lubbock’s businesses and community organizations to come forward to
sponsor wreaths for this awesome program.”
