         and many experts agree that there are twice that many
         undiagnosed.  Parkinson’s affects more people than all other
         movement disorders (ALS, Huntington’s, MS, etc.) combined.
         And it is no respecter of persons, affecting all ages, races and
         genders.  The youngest person ever diagnosed was just three
         years old, and at least 10% of all cases today are diagnosed
         before the age of 40.

         Tracy and Doug learned about events which help the
         Southwest Parkinson Society provide a multitude of benefits
         for patients and caregivers.  In Lubbock, support groups for
         both patients and caregivers are offered and may be attended
         together or separately.  Water exercise classes, seated Zumba
         classes and Right Cross boxing classes are also available.
         Over 25 support groups meet regularly across our region.
         Educational symposia for anyone interested in Parkinson’s
         disease are sponsored several times a year, and all funds raised
         by The Southwest Parkinson Society stay in this region.
         Doug explains, “Tracy and I are willing, along with our
         employees, to pitch in and take any assignment to help an
         event succeed.  We’ve set up a stage for the Caldwell kids to
         perform at the Southwest Parkinson Society’s Christmas party
         for Parkinson patients and caregivers.  Best In-Home Care was
         one of the sponsors and helped with the auction at the Annual
         Wine and Chocolate Fantasia at the Llano Estacado Winery.
         We were also a sponsor and helped promote the annual Fall
