How to THANK
A
Veteran
s we prepare for Veteran’s Day 2022, let’s
intentionally consider the lives of the “less than

months, and some for years at a time. They, and their
families, adapt to ever-changing moves and often deal

This Veteran’s Day, we encourage individuals to show
their thanks in actions, not just words. Here are a few
suggestions:
1. Write a check. Countless organizations assist our
veterans who are facing financial difficulty and offer
job counseling to those leaving the military. Wounded
Warriors is just one such organization. Or you can
simply ask a veteran what they could suggest or what
they need.
2. Volunteer. Give of your time to a veterans group.
An organization such as the ones who build homes for
wounded veterans is a tremendous way to say thank
you in actions far stronger than words.
3. Hire a veteran or veteran spouse. If you are in a
management position, you’ll find that most veterans and
their spouses are talented, professional, hard-working,
and loyal.
4. Support Veteran Entrepreneurship. Nearly 10% of
