I have come to realize something. I already had
a moment with him, through how much he has
impacted my family, especially my mom. I’ll never
get a chance to talk to him, but he is with me, in
more ways than anyone could imagine.

My mother would not be the person she is today
without him – from the many Disney trips we go
on, the information she gives me, her photography
skills, and her ability to talk to anyone, whether they
are a stranger or not. It made me realize that a vast
amount of knowledge is passed down from seniors,
which can come through in ways you least expect
it. The wisdom of my grandfather is being brought
back to me through my mom, which helps me
understand how important it is to learn from older
people and to pass down the things that you know
